TRIAD BELLOWS EXPANSION COMPENSATORS

Triad Bellows expansion compensators absorb linear pipe growth due to thermal expansion in the piping system. Metal expansion joint piping compensators are similar in design to an externally pressurized expansion joint.  The external pressure on the bellows will stabilize it, allowing for longer bellows and greater movement. Each piping expansion compensator is pressure tested at the factory to insure a leak tight installation.  As with any expansion joint the piping must be properly anchored and guided to function properly.

Triad Bellows expansion compensators are offered in 4 different styles.

Male NPT Series 1           Manufactured with stainless steel multi-ply bellows and carbon steel male NPT threaded nipples each end.  The outer casing is carbon steel.

Copper Sweat Series 2   Manufactured with stainless steel multi-ply bellows and female copper sweat ends.  The outer casing is stainless steel and the entire assembly is lead free.

Weld End Series 3           Manufactured with stainless steel multi-ply bellows and sched 40 carbon steel beveled weld ends. The outer casing is carbon steel.

Flanged Series 4               Manufactured with stainless steel multi-ply bellows and 150# carbon steel plate flanges each end.  The outer casing is carbon steel. A105 forged steel flanges available on request.
